BryanBoy: Fashion Guru
Since this blog is called City.Fashion.Glamour, I've decided to put more "fashion" into today's post than anything else. About a year ago I discovered a fashion blogger before he rose to fame who is totally amazing. Amazing is even an understatement when talking about this guy. He goes by the name Bryan Boy and gets invited to all the runway shows from Milan, to Paris to New York fashion weeks. From there, he blogs about them and gives his critic on every seasons collection along with his travels to places around the world. On his blog, you'll find tons of interesting things, like what's in his satchel and what he eats when he goes to some of the best restaurants in the world. Once you've finished reading his posts, you'll know this guys likes, dislikes and will be able to name every single place he's been to in the world. He's a true fashion diva and that's why I love him!
He's a link to his blog...so enjoy!

Talia's Playlist
So I've decided to try out something new and write a totally new type of post. Something I've never done before. I'm someone who adores music and has thousands and thousands of songs in her iTunes. So many that I constantly find myself deleting music off my iPod to make room for a ton of new songs. I've decided to make playlists of all my favorite songs, some known and others unknown. You'll find I listen to a lot of different types of music so I hope that this will help you add some new songs to your own playlist. Keep in mind these are all new songs.Enjoy!

Looking for New York's Socialites? I found them!
New York City is THE city that NEVER sleeps. This is why it's nightlife is always lively and it's events are spectacular! Dozens and dozens of events take place every night in New York, which amounts to thousands taking place EVERY year. We certainly need a way to keep track of all these events and luckily, there was a website created for this very purpose. The New York Social Diaries is a really cool site I found about a year ago, with pictures and articles on every HUGE event held in New York City. It's bound to make you jealous that you weren't there....and weren't invited!

Ramsay Can Now Call Montreal Home.
A recent announcement that a certain world-renowned celebrity chef was to take over Rotisserie Laurier BBQ in Montreal's Outremont neighborhood took every Montrealer by surprise...a pleasant surprise, of course!
It was later said that Gordon Ramsay, star of the F Word and Hell's Kitchen was this certain chef.
He said that as of next February, the longstanding restaurant will be renamed Rotisserie Laurier BBQ by Gordon Ramsay. This "new" take on the restaurant will be sure to take in the uber-trendy crowds of Montreal.
This will be Ramsay's first restaurant in Canada. He owns other in New York, Los Angeles and Florida.

An Exotic Find In The Heart of Manhattan
What's really special about this next restaurant is that it evokes a feeling of confusion. You feel a little lost, unsure of where you actually are. New York? Asia? New York? Asia?
Jean-Georges Vongerichten, famed chef of restaurants such as Nougatine in cities like New York and Paris recently opened up his latest in the Meatpacking District of New York City. Steps away from Chelsea Market, it makes you feel a million miles away. Spice Market, the newest addition to his long list of restaurants, uses international spices in every dish, from the drinks to the desserts.
On a recent trip to New York, my family and I decided to check it out. It definitely isn't his best known restaurant, still a little under the radar, so we made reservations about a month in advance, and on a Saturday night this summer, walked in. Everything about the decor and ambience of this place is extremely spectacular. Every little detail, down to the bathroom sink faucets make you feel like you're actually in South East Asia. The waiters are in traditional Southeastern Asian robes, which further adds to the feeling. Without even have tried the food yet, I give Jean Georges five stars for the ambience of the place.
Our waitress arrived almost right away with our menus and Fiji water. Unlike most restaurants, the menu was not too extensive. It incorporates some basics, like fried rice with some new and exotic spices and chicken samosas with yogurt at some pretty modest prices. In a few words, Spice Market is amazing food on a budget. My experience at this restaurant was amazing.
**All dishes are served family-style. They are brought to your table once they are ready and set in the middle for you and your party to dig right in!

Go-To Guide : Greenwich Village
Move over Soho. The new IT neighborhood is Greenwich Village. Located on the west side of Lower Manhattan, it is home to many celebrities. It is a quaint area, with upscale shopping, little cafes and trendy and good looking people. In my opinion, the best place to spot a star. It is home to Sarah Jessica Parker, Marc Jacobs, Naomi Watts and her fiance Liev Schreiber, who I saw on a recent trip to New York City. It's not the typical New York City neighborhood, but it's one of my favourites. Here is the go-to guide to Greenwich Village with some of my favorite places to shop, eat, and be seen.
